My second reaction was to full reinstall Live with my sample library set up on a second drive like it suggests in the manual. Is sample rate something that can make such a big difference? I'm not sure what the sample rate on the pack is but I assumed that maybe my cpu was doing some crazy stuff trying to play it in 96K? I dropped back down to 44.1K and the samples all play fine now but I noticed that the cpu will still go up to like 70% for a lot of them, no effects or anything on the project/channel just straight playing the samples. So I start thinking about things and I had recently been messing around with trying a project at 96K sample rates and my system was still set to that. I threw it in a project after not having used it for a long time and the kick sounds would hardly even play, chopping and clipping like mad! I was stumped. I actually had some trouble with this pack recently so it's super interesting to see this pop up. ![]()
